Professional Experience

DaVita Ontario/Chino – Facility Administrator Ontario then Chino, CA ▪ Oct. 2013- Feb. 2016

 

  • Ran the 24 station dialysis facility with six shifts and six days
  • Ensured all teammates practiced DaVita’s core values and mission along with compliance of P&P and teammate guidelines
  • Started up the FUN committee to boost teammate morale and patient outcomes
  • Additionally all the functions and duties aligned with the AFA below

 

DaVita Ontario – Assistant Facility Administrator Ontario, CA ▪ Nov. 2011- Oct. 2013

 

  • Managed the overall operations for nursing services and patient care in the facility including but not limited to financial management, quality assurance and patient care, safety, risk management, teammate satisfaction, quality index scores, facility maintenance, and other required duties that may arise during the general operations.
  • Assured the safe, therapeutic nursing management of the patients. Functioning as the facility CEO and responsible for ensuring that the Governing Body enforces policies and procedures, and involved in ensuring patient bill of rights is fulfilled, and reviewing the overall functioning of the facility.
  • Monthly budget formulation and review concerning personnel and scheduling needs with patient load and teammate schedule
  • Inventory management, including purchasing, product selection and supply usage; working close with Inventory Tech
  • Reviewed and approved time cards of all teammates for payroll via people net
  • Ensured patient and treatment charges information and other related data are in Snappy system
  • FHR fka: QIFMM-Meet monthly with the facility Medical Director to review facility clinical outcomes, water culture results, staffing, and any other facility issues; developed facility action plans and ensure resolution of issues
  • Planned, organized and supervised the nursing, technical and biomedical teammates to ensure high quality patient care according to company policy
  • Determined staffing plans that promote the most effective use of all teammates, manage all teammate employment areas such as hiring, promoting, job performance evaluations, professional development, teammate satisfaction surveys, and disciplinary actions
  • Evaluated, recorded and processed teammate compensation according to company policy
  • Ensured all employment processes were completed timely and in compliance along with any workday Performance Development Reviews, teammate personnel file maintained, etc.

  • Developed and establish new hospital contracts and relationships
  • Audited Billing and Payroll with Accu-rates and BAR
  •  Overlooked all Nursing credentials, medical screenings and hospital HIPPA training
  • Assisted FA and AROD with program growth and daily productivity

    • Patient advocate for the NKF-National Kidney Foundation, involved in community events and sponsorships for dialysis patients
