Overview: Brought in to build an in-house media department from the ground up. Responsible for all conceptual development and visual execution of Jardine Performance Products and Doug Thorley Headers brand magazine ads, brochures, flyers, product catalogs, internal business forms, stationary and trade show booth graphics.  Supplied media contacts with press releases and technical information and statistics about new products.

Researched and set up internal photographic studio and maintained the company’s product image library containing over 800 images. Created the concept for and set up and maintained the company websites. Each year I was tasked with planning the company’s fiscal advertising budget and advertisement placement program based on sales figures for the previous year. Interfaced with Jardine sponsored Honda AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) race team and made weekly updates both written and photographic.  Member of the trade show team acting in the capacity of media liaison interviewing with magazine editors, Motosport dealers and the general public, I staffed the company booth at both SEMA, Las Vegas and the annual Dealer Expo in Indianapolis.

(Promoted 1997) Hardware Manager: Responsible for the presentation of the sales floor including but not limited to: Ensuring all new items are displayed tidily, all items are priced correctly, monitoring stock levels on best selling items, presentation and location of all monthly paid/non-paid store end-caps and the scheduling of sales floor personnel. Entrusted with store and high dollar lock-up keys and opening and closing of store.

(Promoted 1999) Technical Services Supervisor: Acting as both technician and supervisor my duties included the diagnosis and repair of personal and business PC’s in the shop and on site and the building of custom specification and upgrading of customer’s computer systems. As supervisor my duties included the monitoring of parts ordering and inventory, maintaining swift and accurate servicing times and ensuring technicians achieve production quotas and are proficient on current technologies. Compaq, Toshiba, Hewlett Packard and Sony certified.

 During last quarter of 2000 my department achieved 2nd place nationwide (220 stores) in customer service and satisfaction.
