SUPERVISORY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled by a General Engineer (0801-series), a Mechanical Engineer (0830-series), an Electrical Engineer (0850-series), a Computer Engineer (0854-series), an Electronics Engineer (0855-series), an Aerospace Engineer (0861-series), a Chemical Engineer (0893-series), an Industrial Engineer (0896-series), a Physicist (1310-series), an Operations Research Analyst (1515-series), a Mathematician (1520-series), or a Mathematical Statistician (1529-series), depending upon the qualifications of the candidate. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-3 pay band (GS-9 through GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying principles of professional engineering, physics, operations research, or mathematical science to execute Quality and Mission Assurance support for complex Department of Defense and Navy programs/systems throughout the acquisition lifecycle. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
