Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Accounting or in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting
5 to 10 years of experience in public/private accounting preferred
Minimum of two years supervisory and/or managerial experience required
Manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with Global Shop and Hyperion preferred
Excellent MS Excel skills required
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish accounting policies, procedures and practices
Lead the monthly financial close process, including monthly account reconciliations
Analyze financial reporting data; make recommendations
Review cost standards; make recommendations
Analyze manufacturing variances and present findings to production and engineering
Provide leadership to team members, participate in selecting and training employees
Provide information to external auditors
Troubleshoot accounting system issues; make recommendations
Lead Accounting system implementation and periodic upgradesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
