Medical Billing Specialist
The purpose of this position is to achieve a level of high performance in billing, remittance follow up, and strong customer service.
The ideal candidate will be resposible for the billing of all Medicare claims. Responsible for ensuring all aspects of bills produced meet clean claim requirements for claims filing.
Requirements:
2-3 Years experience
Knowledgeable in all phases of Medicare (CMS) guidelines and how to navigate through Noridians' website
Auditing understanding the CCI methodologies and to control inproper coding preventing inproper payment
Must be detailed oriented
Must have previous billing experience with Medicare/PPO/HMO
Clear understanding of diagnosis codes
Minimum 45 WPM
Highly and self motivated, quick learner, analytical skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
