Inspect machines in the yard to ensure they are Rent Ready including down machines, so the proper parts are being ordered.
Organize Machine Line-up.
Make sure machines are parked in proper position.
Go Row, Down Line, Wash Line.
Respond to questions from Sales staff.
Buckets, attachments, machine capabilities.
Review Dispatch each night to ensure accuracy of machines and attachments leaving yard.
Track yard Status/ Down list each morning and update throughout the day.
Coordinate all service work in shop rental units and customer owned - check in's, services, repairs.
Update Customers and Sales Staff of the status of service work regularly.
Supervise service personnel in shop.
Walk the shop at least 4 times per day.
Perform Annual review for shop employees.
Inspect machines for damage and wear.
Price repairs accordingly and advise Fleet & Assets Manager.
Advise on condition of machines in Rental Fleet for optimal time to sell.
Schedule repairs in shop, weld area.
Preferably the night before.
Ensure Safety Culture.
Ensure shop personnel are working in a safe manner, perform weekly safety and environmental checks.
Attend EEAP safety meeting every 3rd Thursday of the month.
Ensure shop is properly stocked with safety items and PPE.
Review Shop machine inspection forms and order parts accordingly.
Log backlog repairs.
Input Data from Shop inspections into PM master and Service Record files.
Build machine specific service records and filter sheets.
Create and receive PO's.
Ensure warranty is properly filed Oversee/advise on inventory items.
Open & Close work orders.
Other duties as assigned or required.
