Summary:
The Account Manager II overseas assigned Generac accounts and associated support organizations.
The Account Manager II has the responsibility to develop short- and long-range goals for assigned accounts and lead Generac clients to achieve objectives.
This role acts as the primary corporate contact to manage relationships, execute new growth strategies, integrate field efforts, and uphold margins with key accounts.
Essential Duties:
90% Conducts market research, analyzing competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
Develops tactical sales plan with short- and long-range objectives for assigned account sales.
Evaluates and improves internal and external processes.
Works with Marketing to introduce new products and programs to increase market share and brand awareness.
Acts as primary contact for customer contacts and expedites identified issues.
Develops new customers.
Works with clients to develop sales and promotional opportunities to generate revenue.
Manages information to key internal personnel from customer systems.
Creates and presents channel specific programs and promotions to key accounts and decision makers to increase sales.
Manages projects to improve new sales opportunities or expand upon current accounts.
Manages product line reviews(PLRs).
Strengthens account relationships to grow sales of existing and new products.
Develops and executes effective launch plans for converted accounts.
Communicates routinely with the VP of Sales.
Facilitates routine communications between the account and supporting dealer network for installations and aftermarket services.
Develops and maintains potential customer targets, updating routinely.
Keep updated on online product offerings and general content.
Oversees any issues with order management.
10% Other Duties as assigned.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Education:
bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
4 years retail account experience in sales or marketing PREFERRED

Experience:
7 years Power Generation sales experience KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Extensive knowledge of sales, best practices, business processes, project management, and commercial systems; Excellent sales, interpersonal, management, motivation and analytical skills; Proven competitive analysis skills.
Ability to convert metrics into meaningful information.
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills; Self-starter with initiative and vision; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Level of Independence:
This position acts under the guidance of the Vice President of Sales.
COMPENSATION:
Energy Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The salary rate for this role based in Corona, CA is $61,000-$91,000.
This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.

The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing, and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
