19six Architects is seeking a highly motivated Higher Education Architectural Project Manager to manage our Higher Education projects for clients located in the Southern California region.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Collaboratively work with the Design Studio to coordinate and manage Higher Educational projects throughout all project phases, pre-design through construction administration.
Produce and comprehend architectural redlines and efficiently produce documents and revisions.
Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project scope and budget.
Coordinate design consultants and oversee architectural team.
Review deliverables prepared by project team before proceeding to next phase.
Coordination of construction documents.
Manage multiple projects and communicate with clients.
Work collaboratively and clearly with staff, and facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; Masters is a plus.
Seven plus (7+) years' experience in managing Higher Education project (large-scale K-12 project experience will be considered).
Pay scale depends on years' experience.
Experience with Agency/DSA approval is required.
Architectural license is a plus, but not required.
LEED certification is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in Revit, Acrobat, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated, positive and ability to problem solve.
Ability to create strong client relationships.
Passion for design and construction.
