POSITION DETAILS The newly created role is a pivotal role and will part of the Global Supply Chain team and is responsible for supporting our A&D and Industrial businesses. This position will play a key role in driving logistics excellence and optimizing the transportation supply chain. The ultimate goal of this position will be to build a sustainable, lean, logistics operation capable of not only supporting the company's projected growth but also driving it. This role requires the ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization. You will own strategic thinking, process design, and operational execution to deliver best-in-class logistics operations. Working independently, the Global Logistics Manager is responsible for leading all activities for the entire logistics department. This position will also be responsible for the management and compliance of all import and export freight movement and shipments, while directing all domestic inbound and outbound transportation service levels and expense. This Leader will interact with senior leadership across all lines of business, as needed. Principal Activities Develop the management process to ensure timely deliveries (Inbound & Outbound) and in compliance with all import/ export regulations including country of origin, product markings, packaging, labeling, HTS and product specific certification Subject matter expert within the Logistical space, including FTL, LTL, FCL, LCL, and parcels Manage Global carrier and freight forwarder negotiation, contracts, quality impact, service and relationships. Objectively challenge current practices to stimulate alternative thinking Support the execution of business strategies in customer contract negotiations concerning terms of sale and INCO terms and providing visibility to Logistic risks with risk mitigation plan Deliver tangible productivity (Total Landed Cost) in improved service and lower cost to serve for inbound and outbound freight Works well within set budgets and target frameworks and implements controls necessary to keep expenditures within budgetary limitations Ensures all internal business partners receive and understand reporting and business intelligence provided to them within regular reporting cadence Serves as the primary contact for all logistics matters Establish/Improve the process for proper auditing of freight and broker invoices Stay current with freight practices and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement based on changing market or network conditions Develop risk mitigation plans to ensure continuous flow of goods Develop appropriate metrics and manage KPI's associated with logistics activity Special projects or any other Duties assigned in addition to, and outside of, primary responsibilities listed above JOB REQUIREMENTS CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Skills & Abilities Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects Resilient with an ability to adapt/flex to changing business objectives Demonstrated ability to influence peers without direct authority Proven track record of establishing standard work Familiarity with global organizations and matrix reporting structures Outstanding written and verbal communication skills at all levels Computer literacy including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Outlook Ability to travel Education & Experience BS in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field Must have a strong understanding of shipping, logistics systems and processes 10

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
