The Sr. KAM will be responsible for managing CIRCOR's contract performance with customers, and/or a set of related projects to achieve programmatic business objectives throughout the program lifecycle. Effective & regular communication with customers and multiple internal stake holders is key to success. The SR. KAM serves as the customer advocate while balancing customer needs vs. CIRCOR's own business objectives with the ultimate objective meeting minimum CIRCOR objectives while assuring customer satisfaction. The Sr. KAM shall also be lead negotiations related to Long Term Agreements and/or Contract Amendments The Sr.KAM will provide leadership to a matrix team from varying cross-functional areas, maintains regular interaction with customers, Site and Group team leaders, which may include multiple sites. PRICINCIPLE ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform account management of multiple key customers as well as leading a matrix cross-functional team Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements Conduct regular internal status reviews of key issues and/or customer initiatives. Revise performance metrics and refocus teams as necessary to ensure customer and CIRCOR requirements are met. Lead project gate reviews for customer or internal changes relative to production contracts in line with project timing and internal process requirements with a focus on contract/on-time delivery. When CIRCOR is involved in New Business proposal activity with assigned key accounts, the Sr. KAM will participate in a support role with the BD Sales team member leading that proposal effort The Sr. KAM may be asked to provide key customer insights and support milestone schedule development for the new business proposal efforts Responsible for data integration, tracking of financial and quality performance, and implementation of corrective actions covering all areas of customer responsibility Addresses critical customer issues and leads the team to develop action plans to improve performance Participates in customer planning efforts and forecasting; leads all phases of programs throughout the production and aftermarket lifecycle Serves as the primary point of contact to key customers and is responsible for the negotiation of contracts and contract changes related to scope management Organizes and leads the CIRCOR matrix team for all issues related to the customer contract and performance metrics Communicates overall customer priorities and changing requirements to CIRCOR Leadership and functional areas Ensures strong customer relationships by responding to all customer requests and serving as the primary point of contact for all ongoing activities, status and problem resolution Leads team meetings both internally and externally; ensures actions are documented, communicated and closed by the assignee in the timeframe required and provides timely written status to leadership Maintains professional and technical/product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical/specialty publications, and/or participating in professional associations Responsible for identifying the timing of an escalation and assembling and reporting the escalation using the available tools JOB REQUIREMENTS CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of related work experience; including five or more years leading cross-functional teams in projects/program management or customer account management roles of varying complexity and scope Experience in similar roles with Boeing Commercial Aircraft, Boeing Defense, Airbus Industries, and/or major Aerospace Tier One suppliers to Boeing and Airbus is preferred Practical knowledge of aerospace commercial or military contracting and procurement requirements and understanding of financial and labor cost systems and production processes Knowledge and proficiency with program/project management processes, methodology, and architecture Ability to effectively demonstrate business skills and simultaneously manage multiple key customers and/or projects, and cross-functional matrixed teams. Working knowledge of industry practices and the marketplace associated with fielded product or service Proficient in the use of business applications software (MS Office) and the ability to use specialized project management (MS Project) applications. Skilled at analyzing and interpreting complex policies, contractual language, and financial reports. Ability to analyze product cost data and lead strategic internal and external discussions related to negotiations Communicates accurately, clearly, and directly both verbally and written, internally and externally Highly skilled in communicating and presenting customer and project information to various levels of management, customers, and/or suppliers Working knowledge of fluid control, actuation, and/or electric motor products is a plus Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools - Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Education Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Business or a related field preferred Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance is a plus PMP certification is a plus Core Competencies:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Account ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
