Play, Learn and Compete.
We believe gymnastics can be enjoyed and is beneficial for anyone - including kids stepping in for the first time, just to have some fun! As a recreational gymnastics coach you will help guide a small groups of athletes looking to learn the basics of gymnastics.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with kids (being a positive figure is a must) and someone who can execute the KIPS mission, core values, policies & procedures.

Recreational gymnastics coaches are responsible for:
Learning and teaching the structured lesson plans in the KIPS 12 learning program.
Communicating with KIPS customers before, during, and after events to ensure a positive customer experience.
Providing a fun, positive class for all our participants.
Collaborating with co-workers in creating fun and creative warmups, challenges, and games.
Participating in our paid training opportunities.
This can include our KIPS training courses, USA Gymnastics clinics, sessions offered by our in-house KIPS trainers, and more! Assist in light cleaning duties to keep our gyms fresh and ready for the next round of classes or events.
Qualifications SGA is looking for:
Availability on mornings, evenings, or weekends.
All are a plus! Enthusiasm about working with kids with a positive and engaging demeanor - someone who can maintain a fun energy.
Basic knowledge or experience as a gymnast is great, but not required - we train people from all backgrounds.
Effective communicator with children and adults.
Desire to promote a positive learning environment for every child.
Desire to grow within our organization.
- Familiarity with other sports or physical activities such as karate, swimming, basketball, or climbing is a plus - Experience working with children or students in an educational or coaching setting - Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate students Job Type:
