CNC Set-Up Operator
KPG is partnered with a stable aerospace company seeking multiple CNC S/U Operators to join their team on Temp-Hire basis. The ideal candidates will offer 2
years of CNC S/U experience, preferably with Mills. Schedule:
Monday-Friday from 3pm-11:
30pm
overtime and Saturdays as needed. Pay Rate:
$23-$26, depending on level of experience. Job Duties:
Machine Setup:
Configure CNC milling machines, select appropriate tooling, and load materials to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, Operation:
Operate CNC milling machines to produce complex aerospace components with tight tolerances. Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure that components meet the required specifications and standards. Use calipers, micrometers, and high gauges. Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them in optimal working condition. Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of machine setup, programming, and production data. Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
Qualifications:

years of proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator, preferably in aerospace or precision machining (manufacturing). Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of machine setup. Familiarity with a variety of CNC control systems FANUC or HASS Ability to meet ITAR guidelines. Translate into machine set-up Move machine control to adjust machine Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines Set up, machine tools Set up and operate another machine tool during machining cycles Set or reset machine to required machining sequence to machine parts in tolerance Clean machine, tooling, and parts Set up and operate assigned equipment necessary to machine component parts Inspect parts as exit the machine Read and interpret machine parts drawing specifications Operating equipment and machine tools Adjust machine settings to machine parts according to specifications and to maximize machining capabilities Start machine and observe cutting operation Sharpen tools and set up tooling Fabricate parts to specifications on blueprints Set up and operate computer numerical control machines by programming control instructions into machine control units Select appropriate set-up tooling and fixtures for machines Determine accuracy of machine operation Set up and operate another machine tool during tape controlled machining cycles Produce parts within required tolerances Recommended Skills Blueprints Cnc Machine Operation Operate Cnc Machine Power Tools Precision Tools Apply to this job.
