ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Communicate with the Production Manager and provide updates on daily/weekly tasks and goals.
Supervise employee activities while ensuring safety and high-quality standards are met.
Lead and motivate a team of production workers to meet production goals and quality standards.
Estimates resources and material requirements based on the production plan and sales forecasts.
Coach and mentor employees to improve performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement production schedules to ensure targeted daily production volume is met.
Foster a positive work environment and build strong relationships with employees and other supervisors.
Supervise employee activities while complying with safety and high-quality standards.
Responsible for estimating staff and material requirements based on the production plan and sales forecasts.
Implement production schedules to ensure targeted daily production volume is met.
Establish and adjust procedures to meet the production schedule.
Monitor equipment and performance in work areas to ensure production requirements are met.
Coordinate with VP of Operations repairs and opportunities to improve efficiency.
Ensure high levels of productivity and continuous improvement.
Produce optimum output to exceed KPIs.
Train new employees to enable them to assume the duties and responsibilities of their assigned positions.
Promote a high level of performance, discipline, and morale.
Monitor and evaluate performance of subordinates.
Recommend and implement personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
