The ideal candidate will treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.
Responsibilities:
Determine treatment strategies; identify precise locations where needs should be inserted or where electrical or heat stimulation is to be applied Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for treatment Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, single use needles at specified locations to stimulate certain points on or near the surface of the body by the insertion of needles to prevent or modify the perception of pain or to normalize physiological functions Evaluate the effects of treatments by observing, noting and evaluating patient's progress; modify treatments as needed Requirements:
Master's degree from an accredited acupuncture school Certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) Current license in good standing to practice Acupuncture in the State of California Minimum three years' experience Job Types:
