Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred - Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.
