The Receptionist's duties include, but are not limited to, the following.
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of calls and forwards to appropriate personnel or department.
Answers questions about the organization & provides callers with directions and other general information.
Scheduling appointments customers call or email in for corresponding day, as well as scheduling the jobs with techs per trade.
Sorts and files confidential documents in the appropriate files.
Photocopies as needed.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of company information and assists with employee functions.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
One (1) year clerical experience and ability to answer telephones in a professional manner as well as ability to coordinate visitors to the office.
Possess organizational, technical and team-building skills to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
QuickBooks software knowledge Basic computer skills; Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Windows Operating System is preferred.
Good typing skills; Good organization skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
