We are seeking a scheduling assistant who will be working out of our Corona based Office.
This position will be assisting with material scheduling for different jobs we have and assure that there is proper communication with all supervisors and vendors to fulfill material needs.
Some of the day-to-day tasks will be consisting of the following:
- Adjusting Excel files as needed to keep material drop offs up to date and on time.
- Assuring accurate and timely deliveries to jobsites while coordinating with supervisors and vendors.
- Follow up on purchasing orders and adjust arrival dates as needed to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate prices for purchasing.
- Maintaining proper communication with our in-house shop to ensure material is prepared and ready to be delivered.
- Maintain customer service driven attitude when answering phone.
Qualifications:
- General Excel Knowledge (Required) - Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Outlook) - QuickBooks experience (preferred) - Bilingual (Optional) Job Type:
